Parks & Recreation:

Marco Island offers several parks many visitors will find interesting. Some are small neighborhood green spaces, others larger with numerous activities. Here's a quick summary:

Mackle Park.

Heathwood and Whiteheart.

This mid island park offers lots for all ages and is our most extensive city park.

Named for the founding family of modern Marco, the Mackle's, this park has your best collection of young children activities: play ground with climbing areas, water features (bring a bathing suit on hot days - they're going to insist!), kid height basketball, indoor games. For older visitors, a nice lakefront walk around. Adult & teen undercover basketball courts.

City Raquet Club

San Marco at Heathwood, across from the Fire & Police stations.

Tennis or raquet ball players, rejoice. This is our park.

Tigertail Park.

Otter Property Park.
